DONALDSON, Aeneid Maxine – age 87 of New Beginnings Seniors Home in Yarmouth and formerly of Lower Argyle, passed away on May 10, 2017 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born February 14, 1930 she was a daughter to the late Norman and Leora (Hagar) Kenney. Aeneid was a housewife and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family dearly. In her younger years she loved travelling and camping and had hobbies such as gardening and quilting. She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Donaldson (Reg) Ottawa, ON; sons, Laurie (Yolande), Quinan; Gilbert (Trudy), Overton; sisters, Ruby Dyer, Halifax; Doreen (Bob) Goudey, Ottawa, ON; son-in-law, Ian Macintosh; grandchildren, Natalie, Sara, Matthew, Jill, Jennifer, Jason, Marc, Daniel; and great grandchildren, Issac, Annika, Wyatt, Thomas, Gavin and Emery. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Wellington; daughter, Kathryn Macintosh; brothers, Frank Kenney and Norman Jr. Kenney in WWII. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 3 P.M from Argyle Pubnico Baptist Church with Pastor Mitchell DeWare officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to the Diabetes Association of Nova Scotia or the Argyle Pubnico Baptist Church.
