Pearl Mary O'Brien, 83 years of age, of River Hebert, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. Born in River Hebert, NS, she was a daughter of the late Edward & Ada (Roberts) Richard.
She loved to play scrabble and was an avid bingo player. Her family was her pride and joy.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters Nancy, Susan Mitchell (Bruce) of River Hebert, sons, Kenneth & Joseph of River Hebert; grandchildren, Mandy, Daniel, Frank, Joseph, Carrie, David, Joel & Jessica, Sarah, Joey, Catrina & Ryan; several great granchildren; sisters, Doris Burbine of River Hebert, Ruby Burbine, Joyce Matthews both of Amherst; brothers, James of Springhill, Robert of Ontario.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harris O'Brien, Jr. daughter, Kathy Lee
granddaughter, Krissie Hurley.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Furlong-Jones Funeral Home 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). No Visitation by request. A graveside service will be held in the St. Denis Cemetery, Minudie on May 16, 2017 at 11:30 a.m.
