Passed away on May 5th, 2017 at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital at the age of 75 years, Everton McLean. He leaves to mourn his wife Evelyn; children Dalton (Colleen) McLean, Garrison (Manette) McLean, and Faith (Jamie) Payne; grandchildren Everton Jr. (Karen) McLean, Garett (Anna) McLean, Brittany McLean, Alex (Amy) McLean, Andrew (Bianca) McLean, Justin Payne, and Ryan (Danielle) Payne; great-grandchildren Gabrielle McLean, Lincoln McLean, Russell McLean. Adrian McLean, and Alexander McLean; brother Baxter McLean; sister Pearl (Stewart) Mitchelmore, as well as a wide circle of other family and friends. Everton was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Beatrice McLean as well as his sisters Virtue McLean and Belinda Hughes. Visitation took place at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Lower Cove from where the funeral was held on Monday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Omar Reyes officiating. Interment followed in the Green Island Cove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
