We regret to announce the passing of Marie Boone on May 18, 2017 at CB Regional Hospital.
Born in Main-A-Dieu, August 15, 1930, she was the daughter of Leo and Annie (Perry) Lahey.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Valerie (Roland) Williams, Lake Ainslie; daughter-in-law, Beverley Boone, Calgary; grandsons, Matthew Boone, Calgary and Michael (Andrea Kirby) Boone, Edmonton; brothers, Ernie (Tish) Lahey, Louisbourg and Joe (Roz Eichhorn) Lahey, Lethbridge, AB; sisters, Sr. Caroline Lahey, CSM, Bethany, Antigonish, Florence Turnbull, Sydney, Angela (Allister) MacLeod, St. Ann`s Bay and Sheila (Jim) Harte, Stony Plain, AB, also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Joseph; sons, Leo and Eugene; sister, Shirley Jamael, and brother, James Lahey.
Visitation will take place on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 1-2:30 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Main-A-Dieu with Funeral Mass to follow at 3 p.m., with Fr. Bill Burke officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church Cemetery Fund or a charity of your choice.
