It is with great sadness that the family of Wanda Geraldine Mercer announce her passing on May 18th, 2017 in Bonavista at the age of 62 years after a long battle with cancer.
Wanda’s final wish was to have her remains donated to the Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University of NL through the Anatomical Gift Program. Her gracious gift will help future health care professionals learn the skills to save lives and help support further cancer research in the hope that one day, there will be a cure.
She will be greatly missed by her partner Basil and her son Shane (partner Jonathan), stepson Gary Randell and family, brother Brian Mercer and family as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Wanda was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Frances Mercer and long-time partner Calvin Randell.
Wanda will be forever loved and missed by all.
