Annie Theresa Bresolin, 84, of New Waterford, passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital.
Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Slobneig) Rupert.
Annie was a member of the Parish of St. Leonard, Mount Carmel Church, New Waterford. Annie was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a very loving and friendly woman who enjoyed knitting, and had a deep love for animals, especially caats.
Annie was also a member of the New Waterford Pensioners Club.
Annie is survived by her husband, Louie; sons, Louie Jr. (Bernadette), George’s River, and Christopher (Sandy), Kitchener, Ont.; and her three loving grandchildren, Bryson, Mallory and Chelsey.
Annie was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, William, Egbert, Christopher, two sisters, Angela and Mary.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford. A funeral mass of celebration will take place Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. in the Parish of St. Leonard, St. Michael Church, River Ryan. Interment will be held in Mt. Carmel Cemetery at a later date.
