David Norman Wells

David Norman Wells, 51, North Wallace, Cumberland County, passed away suddenly in Halifax. Born in Sackville, N.B., he was a son of George (Audrey Boyd) Wells, Innerkit, Ont., and Mary (Raymond Remington) Morrison, Amherst. David worked as a drywaller and was a gifted tradesman. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, snowmobiling and going to his camp in Nuttby. Besides his parents he is survived by his partner, Annie Frederick; sons, Christopher (Melisa Patriquin) Wells, Pugwash; Blake Wells and Robert (Robyn Bennett) Wells, all of Truro; granddaughter, Zoe Wells, Pugwash,; sisters, Susan (Marvin) McRae, Nuttby; Kim (Carter) Betts, Oxford; step-daughters, Brittany Thompson and Tammy Frederick, both of North Wallace; step-grandchildren, Adam Frederick and Wyatt Fisher. He was predeceased by his step-father, George Morrison. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 17, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Mundle's Funeral Home, 204 Water St., Pugwash from where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial in the Fox Harbour Community Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Wallace and District Volunteer Fire Department.
