1 - What is InMemoriam.ca?

InMemoriam.ca is an online community that complements print obituaries and memorials in a group of more than 135 daily and weekly newspapers.

Our mission is to help families and friends honour the lives and memories of departed loved ones through personalized Memorial Websites. Visitors to these online memoriams can:

• Leave written tributes
• View photos of the departed
• Relive memories through video clips
• Light a candle to honour the deceased
• Read articles, stories, and poems created by other visitors
• Follow a chronological timeline of important events in the life of the deceased, such as marriage, children, career milestones, and other achievements

2 - How will family and friends find the website?

The site is accessible directly at www.inmemoriam.ca or through the "Obituaries" link on our newspaper websites.

3 - Who creates, edits and updates the website content?

Content on the Memorial Website that you create is managed by you! InMemoriam.ca will ask you to create an account - including a login name and password - that will allow you to add messages, photo galleries, videos and other condolences to the Memorial Website.

Visitors to the website will also be able to add condolences and memorial candles.

4 - How long does it take to create a Memorial Website?

It only takes a few minutes to create a personalized memorial site. Afterwards, you'll be able to add and edit content at any time.

5 - How much does it cost to create a Memorial Website?

There are two packages available. The one-year plan costs $49.95, while the three-year plan is only $94.95.

7 - Can I renew the website when my contract expires?

Absolutely! We will even send you an email before the contract expires to remind you that renewal is coming up shortly.

8 - What happens to the website if I do not renew when the contract expires?

After your contract expires, InMemoriam.ca will archive the website for six months. After that date, the Memorial Website will no longer be available.
