Conrad Stephen Furey

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our inspiration. Conrad was an artist and man of integrity as well as a friend and teacher to all. We have all been touched in a special way by his determination and love of life. He was a very quiet and humble man who cared about people and he gave his all to anyone who asked for his help. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by the love of his life, his wife, Theresa and his loving daughter Leah, whom he was so very proud of. Predeceased by his parents Stephen and Ethel Furey. Left with fond and loving memories are his brothers and sisters: Josephine (John), Edward (Mary), Tom (Dorothy), Mike (Louise), Don (Sheila), Pearce (Ann), John (Gloria), Ann (Harris), Mary (James), Joe (Lisa); and by Theresa's family the Templeton's and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would also like to extend their gratitude to all the members of Conrad's Cancer Clinic Teams for their care and friendship, along with thanks to the VON and Bayshore Nurses and Dr. Piccinin for his home care. Visitation at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario (between Fennell and Mohawk). Funeral Mass at St. Margaret Mary Church, 20 Idlewood Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario, on Saturday, January 26th. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Colorectal Cancer Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
