WESTVILLE – Ralph Daniel Jones, 57 years, College Street, Westville, passed away Friday, December 7, 2007, at his home. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Leonard and Cassie (MacLellan) Jones. Known for his sense of humour, Ralph, spent many years employed at Jones and MacIntosh Esso, MacIntosh’s Esso and MacIntosh’s Irving where he always met his customers with a smile and usually a story. The last year, he was employed at I.C.T. Canada Marketing Inc., New Glasgow. He is survived by his sister, Marie (John) Bourque, Westville; brothers: Fred “Deacon” (Rose), Sudbury; John “Bub” (Donna), New Annan; Allan, Sudbury; Frank (Debbie), Westville; Art “A.J.” (Lorraine), Pictou; Sandy (Tammy), Westville, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Gerard; and two infant sisters. Visitations will be held on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of The Holy Name, Westville, with Father Donald Boudreau officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Name Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made the Canadian Diabetic Association, or to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
