Dec. 16,1936 -Feb. 21, 2010. Marjorie passed peacefully away on Sunday, February 21, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital after a very brief illness. In sickness and in death, just as throughout her life, she was surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Mary Essie (Boland) Power, her brothers: John and Steve, her sister Mary Rose and her sister-in-law Laura. Thankful for her unwavering love and support in their lives, yet broken-hearted by her loss, are her four much loved children: Bob (Bette), Saskatoon, SK. , Tom (Dolly) Battleford, SK., Kelly and John, St. John's, NL. Left to forever miss Marjie's special place in their lives are her five brothers: Robert, Ernie, Joey, Tom and Kenneth; her three sisters: Sheila, Joan and Doris, her sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, special cousins and friends in Saskatchewan and Newfoundland, especially in Calvert. At Marjie's request, cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 24th at 2:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church in Calvert with interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery. The family welcomes all Marjie's friends to a reception afterwards in Calvert Hall. Flowers are respectfully declined.
