1929-2010 Roland Robichaud, 80 of Cormierville has passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Sunday, February 21st, 2010 at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Moncton. He was married to Florence (Girouard). Born in Cocagne on June 28th, 1929, he was the son of the late Hector and the late Fidelisse (Despres) Robichaud. Roland work for the DOT as a snow plow operator for several years. Roland will be sadly missed by his wife Florence, his two children, Patricia Allain (Gilles Gaudet), and Robert both of Cocagne, three grandchildren, Mathieu, Kimberley, Bradley, his two sisters, Bernadette Kinney (John) of Lakeville, Hectorine Gagnon of Manchester, NH, one brother Yvon (Rita) of Cocagne, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one brother Roger.
Visitation will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Cocagne Church on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
