Margaret Theresa Campbell, a former resident of Braemore Home and Carefield Manor, died peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010, at her residence in the Northside Guest Home.
She was the daughter of the late Peter and Agatha Campbell.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Joseph, Ignace and Butler; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was very fond of singing and piano playing. In conversation, she demonstrated a good sense of humour and a great memory.
She will be greatly missed by her nephews, Tom Campbell and Gerard Campbell.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Curry’s Funeral Home, Glace Bay. A Funeral Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel Friday at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest at St. Anne’s Cemetery with the other members of her family.
Thank you to all who have been so supportive of Margaret over the years. A very special heartfelt ‘thank you’ to her family at Carefield Manor and the Northside Guest Home.
