PRICE, DARRELL The death of Darrell Harvey Price of Floral Avenue, Fredericton, husband of Elaine (Fraser) Price occurred on Sunday, December 23, 2001 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. Born in Doaktown, he was the son of the late Frank Price Jr. and the late Iris (Austin) Price. Mr. Price was affiliated with the Nashwaaksis United Church, Past President of the Nashwaaksis Kinsmen Club, Member of K40 Club Nashwaaksis and in earlier years he was actively involved in many community sports. He was an avid Detroit Red Wings fan. Mr. Price was employed as a clerk with the New Brunswick Liquor at Brookside Mall. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Derrick Price and Bradley Price (Carrie) all of Fredericton; the love of his life his grandson Noah and granddaughter Rae; two sisters, Alberta Shannon (Keith) of Fredericton and Marilyn Price (Perley) of Priceville; three brothers, Willis Price (Lynn) of South Portage, Sherman Price of Fredericton and Ronnie Price (Nancy) of Hanwell; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North on Wednesday, December 26, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral will take place at the Nashwaaksis United Church, Main Street Fredericton on Thursday, December 27, 2001 at 2 pm with Rev. Franklin Curtis officiating and Rev. Brian MacDonald assisting. Interment at a later date. Remembrances to the Nashwaaksis United Church, Fredericton Community Kitchen or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
