RICHARD B. MCCRAE

MCCRAE, RICHARD B. Richard B. McCrae husband of Arlene (Spinney) of Nashwaak West Road, Nashwaak Bridge passed away suddenly at his home January 5, 2002. Born in Nahwaak Bridge on January 2, 1931 son of the late Frank and Ethel (Murray) McCrae. Mr. McCrae was a woodlot owner and woodsworker. Prior to his retiring from the Canadian National Railroad he was an electrician and a television repairman. He was a member of Equal Rights LOL #32 Nashwaaksis. Besides his wife he is survived by step-daughter Faith Jenkins (Michael) Fredericton; step grandchildren Stacey and Dustin Jenkins; sisters Ferne Couhlan, Nashwaak Bridge and Mildred Duplessis of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, several nieces and nephews and special friends Karen, Lucien and Tremaine Doirion. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his sister Mae MacKay and brother Murray McCrae. Although there will be no visitation, Equal Rights LOL #32 will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 8 at 2 p.m. from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel. Rev. Hazel MorrisHarvey will officiate. Interment in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mr. McCrae's nieces; Barbara MacDonald, Patricia Quendt, Claudia Coughlan-Dorcas, Margie Sullivan, Pamela Moxon and Jody McMillan. Honourary pallbearers; Calvin Dickinson, Justice Manzer, James Forbes, Teddy Fraser, Mac MacLaggan and Lucien Doirion. In lieu of flowers remembrances to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice. Family's address: 247 Nashwaak West Road, Nashwaak Bridge, NB E6C 2A6.
