Sharron Fairservice

PICTOU – Sharron Anne Fairservice, 52, of Church St., Pictou, passed away suddenly June 3, 2008 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Ontario, she was the daughter of Marjorie (Davies) Madson, of Oshawa, Ontario, and the late Kert Fairservice. A resident of Pictou for the past 12 years, Sharron enjoyed music, and liked nothing better than singing, playing guitar, and meeting new friends. She also loved bingo, and long drives. Surviving are her children: Michael (Geri) Fairservice, Barrie, Ontario; Tammy (Jeff) Chisholm, Pictou; Shawn (Cathy) Thompson, Dartmouth; and their father, William “Bill” Thompson, River John; her boyfriend, Fraser MacLean, and his sons, Donald, and Jamie, Pictou; grandchildren: Mikayla, Curtis, Justin, Amber, Brandon, Logan, Christian, Sarah; brother, Michael Fairservice, Oshawa. Besides her father, she was predeceased by a brother, Leonard. Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Saturday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday from Pictou United Church, with Rev. Michael Simmons officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, or a charity of your choice.
