BEAVER BANK – Albert Russell Reese, age 98, of Beaver Bank, passed away February 4, 2008, in Camp Hill Hospital Veterans Centre. Born in Massachusetts, USA, he was the son of the late, Coleman and Leonora (Sanford) Reese. He was a member of All Saints Church of England. He was a former employee of Hugh Park and Son, and a lumberman and farmer. He was a member of the Canadian Wildlife Federation, Historical Society of Nova Scotia and Ottawa, Ontario. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and all sports. He is survived by son,?Leonard, New Glasgow; sister, Grace Reese, Windsor. Predeceased by his wife, Amelia M. (Bowles) Reese; step-son, Robert Bowles; sisters, Bessie Colewell, Ervette Hamilton; brother, Sylvester Reese. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
