MARY B. WILSON

WILSON, MARY B. The death of Mary B. Wilson of York Manor, Fredericton, and formerly of University Avenue, occurred on Tuesday, April 9, 2002. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Katherine (Buckley) Wilson. Miss Wilson was one of the first female lawyers in New Brunswick, who practiced law with the Department of the Attorney General. She was a member of St. Dunstan's Parish, where she was a former President of the Catholic Women's League, and was a longtime volunteer at the gift shop at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Miss Wilson is survived by several close friends. Although there will be no visitation time, relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Thursday at 12:00 Noon at St. Dunstan's Church. The Celebrant will be the Rt. Rev. Dr. Brian G. Sheehan. Interment will take place in the Hermitage Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to any charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North (458-9538).
