PEGGY URQUHART (ORR) O'HARA
O'HARA, PEGGY URQUHART (ORR) The death of Peggy Urquhart O'Hara (Orr) of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on April 9, 2002 after a four year battle with cancer. Born on July 16, 1936 in South Queensferry, Scotland. Peggy worked several years as a hairdresser and then became a full time mother and homemaker. She was a 30 year member of the Nashwaaksis Lionettes and enjoyed bowling, dancing, bingo and family gatherings. She is survived by her husband Paul; daughters, Eleanor O'Hara of Fredericton, Ann (Mike) Cummings of Waasis, and Dawn Paget of Plaster Rock; daughter-in-law, Darlene of New Maryland; grandchildren, Samantha, Rodney, Shawn, Kailey; brothers, William of Queensferry, Scotland and George of Bo-ness, Scotland; sisters, Janet (David) Copeland of Brora, Scotland and Barbara (Desmond) Miller of Queensferry, Scotland; brothers-inlaw, James Paterson of Edinburgh, Scotland and Robert Reid of Queensferry, Scotland; sisters-in-law, Chrissie of Queensferry, Scotland and Margaret of Scotland; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son Neil; son-in-law, Todd Paget; parents, Barbara and James Orr; brothers, Peter and James; sisters, Mary and Betty. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, April 11, 2002 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton on Friday, April 12th, 2002 at 2 pm with Rev. Brian MacDonald officiating. Honourary pallbearers will be Theresa Seeley, Josie Mazzucca, Edith Flinn, Helen Hawkins, Sherrie Evans and Carol Gourley. Interment will take place in the Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
