BISHOP, RONALD A. The passing of Ronald Andrew Bishop of Swan Creek, NB, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Wednesday, April 10, 2002. He was 74. Born in Chipman, NB, he was a son of the late Willard and Amy (Smith) Bishop. Ronald was affiliated with the Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons, Christopher and wife Deborah of Lincoln, NB and Dale of Brantford, Ontario; three daughters, Paulette Allen and husband Peter of Rusagonis, Lori of Cornwall, PEI and Lynn Pike and husband Barry of Virginia, USA; three sisters Joyce Briggs of Burton, Ferne Bishop of Swan Creek and Eva Henderson of Fredericton; five grandchildren, Courtney Bishop, Clifford Bishop, Patricia Allen, Timothy and Andrew Rigier; two great grandchildren, Kaleb and Madison. Predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Willard and Donnie. Visitation will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Thursday 2-4 an 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 12,, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. Interment in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Burton, NB at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.
