KENNEY, C.D., MAX CECIL Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, April 9, 2002 in his 87th year, Max; beloved father of Susan and Wayne, both of Brantford and Jacqueline of Maine; cherished grandfather of Mark Swanson, Shawn and Laura Kenney, and Mackani Kenny-Hall, great grandfather of Paige and Daniel. Max will also be sadly missed by his family and friends. He was a proud Veteran of the Second World War serving in Italy. He was a member of the Carleton York Regiment, New Brunswick, a Sergeant of the 56th Field Regiment in Brantford, a member of the D-Day Dodgers, and a longstanding member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Brantford. The family wish to express their appreciation to the caring staff of the Brantford General Hospital and Versa Care for the compassion and support they offered to Dad and our family during this time. Visitation will be held at Kilcollins Chapel, Florenceville on Monday, April 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd, Florenceville with Rev. Chris VanBuskirk officiating. Interment will take place in the Church Cemetery.
