MCDONALD, KATHERINE AMELIA The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Tuesday, April 9, 2002 of Katherine Amelia McDonald (nee Andrew) of 179 Hanover Street, Summerside, aged 89 years. Dear wife of the late F. Earle McDonald. Loving mother of Charles (Janet) of Winsloe, P.E.I., Virginia (Ron) Jackson of Fredericton, NB, Byron (Ruth) of Summerside, P.E.I., and Mary (Pekka) Rissanen of Tampere, Finland. Also lovingly remembered by her son-in-law Stewart Freeman of B.C., her 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Survived by her brother Benjamin Andrew of St. Eleanor's, P.E.I. Predeceased by her husband F. Earle McDonald, her daughter Katherine Freeman, her brother Arthur Andrew, and her sister Alice Brant. The funeral mass took place at St. Paul's Church Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, April 11, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Katherine's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation, Summerside would be greatly appreciated.
