Anne was born and grew up in Westville, N.S. After working for the Engineers in Halifax during WWII, she married Hubert on November 16, 1944, before he went overseas to Europe. After the War, they lived on several Army bases across Canada while raising their two daughters. In 1969, Hugh retired to Nanaimo and Anne enjoyed being a homemaker, curling, gardening, family and friends. Hugh passed away in 2003 and Anne lived at Lakeside Gardens until November of 2006. Anne decided "It was time" to move to her daughter JoAnne's house in Langley. Although her time in Langley was short, it was very meaningful and she will be greatly missed. "Everyone who knew Anne loved her". Please remember Anne in your own special way and in lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
