PICTOU - Beatrice Lorraine Henderson, 86, formerly of Trenton and Toney River, passed away March 18, 2007, at the Maritime Oddfellows Home, Pictou. Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Lavenia (Hussey) Jones. She was a former member of the Ladies Aid and Choir of St. David's Presbyterian Church in Toney River. She liked gardening, painting and listening to music. She had so enjoyed living on the farm in Toney River and loved animals. She is survived by sons, Tom (Barb) Taylor, Courtney B.C.; Murray (Anna) Taylor, Lantz; daughters, Dianne (Morley) Pearson, Thornton, Ont.; Marjorie (Peter) Landry, Trenton; and stepsons, Carl Henderson, Toney River; George (Sherry) Henderson, Melville; stepdaughters, Agnes MacNeill, Pictou; Brenda (Raymond) Thorne, Pictou and several grandchildren. Also survived by her extended famly at the IOOF Home who gave her such loving care over the years. She was predeceased by first husband, J. Herb Taylor, second husband, Cecil Henderson, and stepdaughter, Shirley Heighton. Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from McLaren Funeral Home Chapel, Pictou, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service with Rev. J. Fleischer officiating. Burial in Abercrombie Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in Lorraine's memory may be made to the Maritime Oddfellows Home, Pictou; St. David's Presbyterian Church, Toney River or a charity of choice.
