HOOD, GARNET (JOE) BYRON Garnet B. (Joe) Hood of Nackawick died June 6, 2002 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. He was 65. Born at Magaguadavic, he was a son of the late Arthur and Eva (Schriver) Hood. Joe enjoyed spending time at this camp in Magaguadavic and loved quality time spent with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Moffitt) Hood; four daughters, Lorrie Myles (Paul) and Carla Morrell (Peter), both of Nackawic, Debbie Grant (Malcolm), Canterbury and Lisa Guerrera (Fred), Massachusettes; two sons, Greg Hood (Shelley), Nackawic and Martin Hood (Rose), Temperance Vale; sixteen grandchildren; two sisters, Ardith Bunn (Dave), Vernon BC and Wanda Lister, Magaguadavic; several nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Hood and Richard Hood. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Saturday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from St. Clements Anglican Church, Prince William. Rev. Robert Barry officiating assisted by Rev. Bill MacMullin. Interment in Otis Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters Jodi Myles, B.J. Myles, Jennifer Myles, Krissy Hood, Amie Grant, Karrie Lynn Grant, Katie Morell, Amber Hood and Nicole Guerrera. Active pallbearers will be grandsons Terry Seveck, Christopher Hood, Justin Hood, Gregory Hood, Josh Grant, Judson Grant and Corey Guerrera.
