ROBINSON, IRA LAURIE Mr. Ira Laurie Robinson (Robbie), husband of Mary Elizabeth (Elliott) Robinson of 5 Sunset Drive, Doaktown, NB passed away Wednesday June 5, 2002 at his residence at the age of 61. Born in Doaktown, NB., son of the late Kenneth John and Lillian Grace (Storey) Robinson. He was retired from the Air Force after 34 years of service. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #23 Doaktown, NB., former town councilor, former member of Doaktown Curling Club and a member of Our Lady of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church in Doaktown, NB. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Shelley Faith Foley (Peter) of Nepean, Ontario; one son, Stephen C. (Brenda Lee) of Doaktown, NB and Maureen Chambers; one brother, Isaac (Carol) of Doaktown, NB; two grandchildren, Joshua Alexander Foley and Taylor Maureen Foley. Predeceased by his parents and one brother Kenneth. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial mass will be celebrated Monday June 10, 2002 at 11:00 am from Our Lady of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church, Doaktown with Father Patrick McDonough officiating. Burial to follow in the Blissfield Roman Catholic Cemetery. Family will gather with relatives and friends following the Memorial Mass at Doaktown Royal Canadian Legion.
