Beverly June (MacDonald) James, beloved wife of Carroll, passed away August 4th, 2008, at the QEII Health Centre. Beverly was predeceased by both her parents, Alexander and Margaret MacDonald, and her siblings, Grant, Earl (Alma), Millan (Pearl, deceased) and Sylvia (Dr. Roy Munroe, deceased). In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Craig (Charlene), Dartmouth; Cindy, Eastern Passage; Mark (Lisa), Bedford; Andrew (Lise), Fall River; grandchildren; a great-grandson; nieces and nephews. Beverly graduated from Stellarton High School and the Aberdeen Hospital School of Nursing in 1959. Devoted to her family and friends, she was very active in her children’s sports, and was a true Habs fan. Beverly was very artistic, and enjoyed teaching and learning in her social groups. She was truly a friend to all who knew her. A member of St Luke’s Anglican Church in Dartmouth, she was active in ACW and various craft groups. She was a former Sunday School teacher, and an active volunteer in her church. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 Thursday, St. Luke`s Church, Veterans Avenue, Dartmouth. Funeral service, 11 a.m. Friday, St. Luke`s Church, Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating. Reception to follow. Burial in New Glasgow at a later date.
