DAISY IRENE TREVORS

TREVORS, DAISY IRENE The death of Daisy Irene Trevors of Fredericton, and formerly of Boiestown, wife of the late Hazen M. Trevors, occurred on Thursday, June 27, 2002 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Ludlow, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lydia (Neagles) Doak. Mrs. Trevors operated a grocery store in Boiestown for several years. She was a former member of St. Peter's Anglican Church, Boiestown, and attended Christ Church (Parish) Church in Fredericton. She was a member of the Church Guild, the Anglican Church Women, the SPCA, and the Kindness Club. Mrs. Trevors is survived by a daughter, Loretta Doak (Johan Dittmer) of Fredericton; a step-daughter, Doris Manderville of Millerton, NB; three step-sons, Robert Trevors of Penticton, BC, Donnie Trevors of Kelowna, BC, and James Trevors of High Prairie, AB; two brothers, Everett Doak (Doris) and Phillip Doak, both of Fredericton; a sister, Birdena Hovey of Fredericton; grandchildren Lisa Bidlake (John Jardine), Lori Bidlake (Miles Pinsent), and Allan Boddy; great grandchildren Taylor, Matthew, and Marian; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Trevors was predeceased by a son, Jack Doak; brothers Nelson and James; and a sister, Ellen. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North on Saturday, June 29 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Christ Church Parish Church, 245 Westmorland Street, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, June 30, 2002 at 2:30 pm with The Venerable Archdeacon John T. Sharpe officiating. Interment will be held in the St. James The Greater Anglican Church Cemetery, Ludlow, NB. Pallbearers for the service will be: Jimmy Doak, Kendall Doak, Miles Pinsent, Johan Dittmer, Dr. Glenn C. Johnston. Honourary pallbearers are: Corinne Taylor, Joyce Pollard, Shirley Ross, Louise Carr, Cindy Norrad, Sheree Burgess, Raymond George. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to The St. James The Greater Anglican Church Cemetery or to any charity of the donor's choice and would be appreciated by the family.
