Christine Le Fresne age 70 of Elm Street, New Glasgow passed away on Sunday August 3rd, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Enns, Austria she was a daughter of the late Anton and Maria (Jank) Langeder. Christine was a resident of Mt. William for some 30 years and has been a resident of New Glasgow for the past three years. She was a former employee of the Ranch House Restaurant. Christine was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. An avid gardener she also enjoyed cooking and knitting. Christine was a member of TOPS in Stellarton. Surviving are her husband, Howard; daughters, Elizabeth (Doug) Fraser of Stellarton, Heather (Ernie) Tufts of Hopewell. Granddaughters: Coleen and Laura Fraser, Melissa and Brianna Tufts; a brother, Hans Langeder of Austria; a sister, Trudy Furtmueller of Austria. Her faithful companion, Tiny. She was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. on Wednesday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 A.M. from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Christine may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Fund or to the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital.
