Clifford Cameron

Stellarton – Clifford Cameron, 88, passed away on Friday Dec. 5, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Stellarton he was a son of Mylo and Ina (Graham) Cameron. Cliff lived most of his life in Stellarton. He was an overseas veteran of the Second World War, a member of the Overseas War Veterans Association and was also a member of Branch No. 28 Royal Canadian Legion, Stellarton. Cliff was a retired employee of the C.N.R with 36 years of service. He was a member of Christ Anglican Church. Cliff was a 65-year member of the Keith Masonic Lodge No. 23 and Harmony Chapter No. 25 O.E.S. Surviving are his wife, the former Phyllis Esling; daughters, Nancy and Hazelann of Stellarton; a granddaughter, Jennifer Dawn; a sister, Ruth Hanham of Truro; sisters-in-law, Theresa Cameron of P.E.I., and Anne Cameron of Ontario; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Ellen, and brothers, Roland, Bob and Ralph. There will be no visitation or service by the request of the deceased. A private graveside service will be held in the Abercrombie Cemetery. If so desired donations may be made in memory of Cliff to the Kidney Foundation or to the Nova Scotia Lung Association. Arrangements are under the direction of the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home.
