BARBERY, JOHN "DAVID" The death of Mr. John "David" Barbery of Fredericton, husband of Laura (McGlashen) Barbery, occurred peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 5, 2002. He was 63 years old. Born on February 11, 1939 in Moncton, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late John Douglas and Doris (Corbett) Barbery. David was a graduate of Moncton High School and reveived a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Mount Allison University in Sackville. He worked at Canada Permanent and at Tractors and Equipment for 18 years. In addition to his loving wife of 30 years, David is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth, and son John, both of Fredericton; a sister, Anne Britten (Ellis) of Dartmouth, NS; an aunt, Grace Hayes of Saint John; and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM from the Marysville Baptist Church, Canada Street. Rev. David DuBois will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date in the Marysville Baptist Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Kidney Foundation or the New Brunswick Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
