NEW GLASGOW – Donald Robert “Donnie” Andersen, 66, New Glasgow passed away Friday, May 9, 2008 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow he was the son of the late Lawrence Joseph and Celia Ames (Anderson) MacDonald. Surviving are daughter, WendyLee (David) MacIntosh, New Glasgow; son, Donnie (Candance) Andersen, Regina; sisters, Jane (James) Stewart, Little Harbour; Doris Burgess, New Glasgow; brother, Clyde (Annie) MacDonald, Cambridge Ont.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers, Clarence, Elliot, Kimbal and Thomas. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in Calvary Temple Church, New Glasgow, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Keith Hazzard officiating.
