April 6, 1915 - June 2, 2008. It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Hayes announces his passing, on Monday, June 2nd, 2008, at the age of 93 years. Mike will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his devoted son Gerry and his wife Wanda (Bertholet), his grandchildren, Michael, Tina (Tin), Sabrina, Lynsey, Damien and Andrew, great-grandchildren Caroline, Paul-Michael, Michael and Sarah and by his daughter-in-law Alice. Mike will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Mike is predeceased by his true love Mary Hayes and his eldest son Damien Hayes. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 6th, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service in Memory of Mike to follow on Saturday, June 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Connelly-McKinley Sherwood Park-Millwoods Chapel, 4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton, AB. (must be heading south on Hwy. 14/216 access is 1 km south of the Sherwood Park Fwy.). Interment to follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
