WESTVILLE – Edith "Edie" Jessie Murray, age 95 years, Church Street, Westville, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Jessie (MacKay) Murray. She was a member of St. Paul United Church, Westville, and a former member of the U.C.W. She is survived by nieces: Carolyne MacLeod-Pye (Doug), Hamilton, Ont.; Charlotte Nevin (Greg), Whitby, Ont.; Jessie Newman, Westville; Elizabeth "Cookie" Kellerman (Rodger), Wellington, N.S.; nephew, Murray (Pat), Antigonish. She was predeceased by infant brother, Robert; sisters: Marjorie, Isabel, Lyda and twin sister, Edna Workman. Visitations will be held 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. from Eagles Funeral Chapel with Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery, Westville. Donations may be made to any charity.
