CLINTON TREVOR FAWCETT

FAWCETT, CLINTON TREVOR Clinton T. Fawcett of Hawkins Corner passed away January 20, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Nortondale, he was a son of the late Hugh and Nadine (Sharp) Fawcett. Clinton worked in the woods with his dad and his brother Junior, drove truck for NB Power, Irving and local Contractors and was employed at Kings Landing for ten years. He worked on the construction of the Mactaquac Dam and the Trans Canada Highway and took part in the last log drive at the Nackawic Stream in the spring of 1954. Clinton enjoyed fishing, hunting, telling long stories, four wheeling and snowmobiling. He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Marr) Fawcett; a daughter, Debbie Bragdon (Gary), Hartfield; a son, Mitchell Fawcett, Hawkins Corner; one sister, Judy Roberts (Bruce), Fredericton; three brothers, Hugh Fawcett, Nortondale, Arthur Fawcett, Hawkins Corner and Terry Fawcett, Nova Scotia; four granddaughters, Julie McConaghy (Greg), Millville, Amy Bragdon (fiancé, Ev Cudjoe), Texas, Cassandra and Kelsey Fawcett, Hawkins Corner; two grandsons, Alex Bragdon (Angie), Rossville and Richard Bragdon (Crystal), Douglas; four great granddaughters, Riley McConaghy, Kaitlynn, Jessica and Alexis Bragdon; several nieces and nephews. Clinton was predeceased by one sister, Constance Fawcett and one granddaughter, Camie-Lyn Fawcett. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Temperance Vale United Pentecostal Church on Thursday, January 23, 2003 at 2 p.m. Rev. Terry Brewer officiating. Interment will take place on his birthday, May 19, 2003 at the Fawcett Cemetery, Temperance Vale. Honorary pallbearers will be Ivan Bradley, Duane Jones, Dean Blaney, Ivan Fawcett, Earl Gorman, Norman Sharp and John Fawcett. Active pallbearers will be Bev Sharpe, Tim Blaney, Bob Marr, Ellis Fawcett, Stephen Fawcett and Bev Marr. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Clinton, the family has suggested the Fredericton Community Kitchen, Fredericton Emergency Shelter or the Canadian Cancer Society.
