ANNA (SMYTH) EGERS
EGERS, ANNA (SMYTH) The death of Anna Egers (Smyth) occurred Friday, March 28, 2003 at her residence in Upper Salmon Creek, NB after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 1, 1929 in Salmon Creek, she was the wife of the late Ross Egers and daughter of the late Robert and Louise Smyth (Cody) of Chipman, NB. Anna was a dedicated member of the Canadian Cancer Society, with over 50 years of active service, and a member of the Salmon Creek Woman's Institute. She had a love for quilting and other handwork. Her quilts are admired by many and treasured by her family. Survived by two sons, Wayne of Montreal, PQ, and Paul (Darlene) of Fredericton; one daughter, Sandra (Doug) Tyler of Chipman; one sister, Florence McPhee, of Upper Salmon Creek. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Julie (Wade) EgersPrpich, Michael (Debbie) Tyler, Misti Tyler, Brenden Tyler, Amanda Egers, Alex Egers and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers; Warren and Andrew Smyth and one sister, Virginia McPhee. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home, 327-3490 with visiting on Sunday, March 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday at 3 p.m., March 31, 2003 from the Alfred E. Parker Memorial Chapel at the Minto Funeral Home with Margie Patterson officiating. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Interment will take place at the United Baptist Cemetery, Chipman, NB at a later date.
