CHENARD, SYLVIO The death of Sylvio Chenard occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, April 4, 2003. Born in Caraquet, NB, he was the son of the late Alfred and Marie Sara (Lanteigne) Chenard; husband of Adrienne (Poirier) Chenard. He retired in 1989 from a long career in education. He loved sports especially golf and curling and was very involved in his community and parish. Survived by his wife, Adrienne; their children, André Chenard (Lynn) of Fredericton, NB, Annette Lanteigne (Marc) of Dieppe, NB, and Charles Chenard (Marianne) of Edmonton, AB; 8 grand-children, Michel (Jill), Eric, Josée and Denis (Fredericton), Sylvie and Danielle (Dieppe) and Gabrielle and Christian (Edmonton); two brothers, Alexandre Chenard (Cécile) of Shawinigan, PQ, Romain Chenard (Aline) of Aylmer, PQ; and one sister Léona Héneault (Jean-Paul) of Valleyfield, QC and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, a daughter Cécile, and two brothers, Gérard (Roseline) and Léonce (Florine). Visitation was held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, on Monday April 7th from 10 AM to Noon. The funeral mass was celebrated at Sainte-Anne-des-PaysBas at 4:00 PM. Rev.
