WINSTON JAMES PAUL
PAUL, WINSTON JAMES Winston James Paul, passed away quietly on Sunday, April 13, 2003 at his home at the Woodstock First Nation, surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren. A business owner and former Chief of the Woodstock First Nation for many years, his family was considered his greatest accomplishment and was always his first priority. Winston was a man of great faith and firmly believed in his church. He was a 4th degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Left to mourn is his wife Ilona (Haray) Paul; three sons, Timothy (Tobi) Paul; Philip (Karen) Paul; James (Penny) Paul; three daughters, Susan (Eric) Buckingham; Tina (George) Paul; Dawn (Jeff) Paul; 14 grandchildren all of Woodstock, NB. Winston is also survived by three brothers, Randolph (Faye) Paul; Wayne (Patricia) Paul of Woodstock, NB; Walter (Edith) Paul of Kingsclear First Nation; one sister Barbara Linder of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Marion (Saulis) Paul; one brother Joseph Paul; five sisters Grace Polchies; Margaret Francis; Geneva Polchies; Theresa Moulton and Marion Polchies. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 79 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from St. Gertrudes Catholic Church. Father Samuel Diotte will be officiating, with interment in the Calvary Cemetery. www.scottfh.com
