PAUL, WINSTON JAMES Winston James Paul, passed away quietly on Sunday, April 13, 2003 at his home at the Woodstock First Nation, surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren. A business owner and former Chief of the Woodstock First Nation for many years, his family was considered his greatest accomplishment and was always his first priority. Winston was a man of great faith and firmly believed in his church. He was a 4th degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Left to mourn is his wife Ilona (Haray) Paul; three sons, Timothy (Tobi) Paul; Philip (Karen) Paul; James (Penny) Paul; three daughters, Susan (Eric) Buckingham; Tina (George) Paul; Dawn (Jeff) Paul; 14 grandchildren all of Woodstock, NB. Winston is also survived by three brothers, Randolph (Faye) Paul; Wayne (Patricia) Paul of Woodstock, NB; Walter (Edith) Paul of Kingsclear First Nation; one sister Barbara Linder of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Marion (Saulis) Paul; one brother Joseph Paul; five sisters Grace Polchies; Margaret Francis; Geneva Polchies; Theresa Moulton and Marion Polchies. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 79 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from St. Gertrudes Catholic Church.
