Fraser Cameron “Duffy” Duff, 74, of High Crest Home, formerly of River Street, Stellarton, passed away Wednesday, September 17th, 2008. Born in New Glasgow, Fraser was a son of the late Miller and Reta (Hamilton) Duff. Fraser served in the Black Watch. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #28, Stellarton, where he enjoyed playing darts. He enjoyed his annual trips to Montreal for hockey games and loved to fish. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan. Fraser worked at the Liquor Commission in Stellarton, from where he retired. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by nephew, Norwin Kellock; nieces, Colleen (Rev. Charles) McPherson; both of Stellarton; Cindy (Paul) Taylor, Plymouth Park; great-niece, Melissa (Terrel) Agar, Toronto; great-nephew, Matthew Taylor, Plymouth Park. He was predeceased by brother, Stewart; sister, Winnie Kellock; nephew, Shayne Kellock. The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton, with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in the Durham Cemetery. Donations in memory of Fraser may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton or to a charity of one’s choice.
