It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Elizabeth Rees (Betty)) announces her passing on May 10, 2003. Born on June 8, 1937, Margaret was the youngest child of George and Diva Estey. She is predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister, and her parents. Betty will be dearly and forever missed by her husband, Doug of 46 years; her oldest son Jerry (Eva); daughter Kim (Bruce); son Terry (Tracey); her grandchildren: James, Jeremy, Ben, Cody, Jason, Christel and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was born in Burtts Corner, NB. She was the youngest of 10 children. She will always be remembered for her love of life and her wonderful sense of humor. she was a wonderful and devoted wife and a kind and loving mother. A church service was held on May 15th at the Protestant Chapel at the C.F.B. Comox Base ,Padre Neil Parker officiated.
