KIRK, KATHLEEN ELIZABETH The death of Kathleen Elizabeth Kirk, wife of the late William Myles Kirk, occurred peacefully with her family by her side on June 7, 2003, at the Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton. Born on July 11, 1898, in Windsor, England, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Blake) Palmer. Kathleen spent her early years in Saint John and moved to Ontario where she lived for 38 years. She returned to New Brunswick after the death of her husband and resided in Fredericton. Survived by her nephews Donald Kirk of Coldwater, ON, and Blake Palmer of Saint John, her nieces Mrs. Nell McEwen and Mrs. Campbell Sparks of London, ON, Mrs. Robert Laskey of Grand Bay-Westfield, Mrs. Stan Worth of Fredericton, Leonard Sisk of Saint John, and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Harry Palmer and her sister Laura (Palmer) Cunningham. At her request there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), on Monday, June 9, 2003, at 2:15 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
