CAPTAIN WILLIAM JOSEPH (RETIRED) HALL

HALL, CAPTAIN WILLIAM JOSEPH (RETIRED), Of Eydie Drive, Rothesay, N.B. passed away suddenly June 10, 2003. Born in Sydney Mines, N.S. he was the son of the late William and Margaret (MacConvile) Hall and loving husband to Kathleen "Bubs" (Sharpe) Hall. Bill was a veteran of World War II as a rifleman in the Infantry and retired with the rank of Captain in 1954. Before moving to Saint John, he was employed as a heavy equipment specialist for 25 years for various Nova Scotia companies as well as the credit manager of Municipal Ready Mix for six years in New Minas, N.S. He belonged to WNSR Memory Club and was an active member of Branch #6 Royal Canadian Legion, Kentville, N.S. Besides his wife, Bill is survived by his children Bill (Betty), Quispamsis, N.B.; Carol (David) Baker, Ottawa, O.N.; Michael Hull, P.Q. and Tim (Cathy), Halifax, N.S. Brothers Clifford, Frank and Alphonse. Sisters Mary (Vince) Marinelli, Kate (Harry) MacDowell and Marguarite Walsh. Grandchildren Bill (Lesley), Victor and Anita (Dwayne) and Great- grandchildren Chelsey, William, Mackenzie and Emily. He was predeceased by two brothers Tom and Patrick. Resting at Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Old Hampton Road, Rothesay, N.B. (849-1702) with visitation on Thursday, June 12th, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Kings Chapel on Friday, June 13th at 10 a.m. with interment to follow.
