NICHOLSON, DONALD ALFRED Donald A. Nicholson of Lake George passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 28, 2003. Donald was born at Lake George on May 17, 1934, a son of the late Roy and Nora (Morecraft) Nicholson. He was a lifelong resident of Lake George and was employed as a carpenter most of his life. He leaves behind three sons, Larry (Joanne) of Minto, Wayne (Carolyn) and Stephen (Alvine), both of Lake George; a sister, Hazel Hawkins of Pine Grove, Fredericton; five grandchildren, Chris, Crystal, Andrew, Jackie and Daniel; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by six brothers, one sister and two grandchildren. Resting at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station with visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at 2 p.m. Rev. Mac Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Sand Bank Cemetery, Magundy. Pallbearers will be grandsons Andrew and Chris Nicholson and Daniel Nason and cousins Calvin, Martin and Barrie Morecraft.
