LARSEN, LARS Lars Larsen of Harvey, passed away at the Moncton Hospital after a valiant battle with Cancer on Thursday July 3, 2003. Born in Denmark, Lars was the Co-Founder of Studio on the Marsh, Harvey. Lars was a Wild Life Artist whose work attained Special Prominence across North America since he was honoured with the Ducks Unlimited Waterfowl Award in 1988. A keenly observant naturalist and outdoorsman, Lars has lived and painted in Canada for over 30 years. He had a great love of nature, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and particularly enjoyed spending time in his Studio on the Marsh and his Camp. Lars was a dedicated supporter of Ducks Unlimited, member of N.B. Fish & Game Association and various other Fish & Game Associations throughout the province. Lars will be sadly missed by his wife Michelle Harvey-Larsen and his many friends throughout New Brunswick and Canada. No visitation by request.
