GRACE MAE PLASTER
PLASTER, GRACE MAE, Grace passed away at Moncton City Hospital on April 13, 2003, surrounded by her loving husband and family. Grace was born in Truro, Nova Scotia on July 26, 1927, daughter of Colin and Jean Milligan (Kennedy). She was the second of eight children. On December 18, 1947 Grace married Cecil MacKinnon. They resided most of their lives in Conway until Cecil passed away on April 19, 1969. She was the mother of three children: Roger (Georgia), Elizabeth (Libby) Ross and David (Linda). Grace married Fred Plaster July 25, 1970 and moved to Fredericton, N.B. She became step-mother to Richard (Francesca) and Janet (Steve) Riley. Grandmother of ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Grace and Fred moved back to PEI in 1984. They spent several winters in Florida. They built a home in Ellerslie in 1990 and moved to Summerside in 1997. Grace was a very artistic, creative person, loved to do crafts such as oil painting, knitting, crocheting and sewing. Grace also enjoyed music, square dancing and gatherings of family and friends. She was a strong, loving, caring considerate person and expressed this often to her family and friends. We express our sincere thanks and gratitude to those who attended the visitation and funeral services. Your expressionas of love, sympathy and comforting words will always be remembered. A special thank-you to all who brought food, sent cards, flowers, telephone calls, gave to charitable causes and helped in any way to ease our grief. Our thanks to Rev. Norman MacDougall, choir, organist, Ferguson's Funeral Home, pallbearers, flowerbearers for the comfort and support. Special thanks to the Doctors and nurses at the Moncton City Hospital for their compassionate care to Mom while she was a patient, and to Rev. Val Ternes-Taylor for you support and prayers during our time at the hospital. You are lovingly remembered in our minds and hearts every day. Fred and Family
