NUTTBY - Gladys Adelle McNutt, 90, of Nuttby, Colchester County, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2007, in The Mira Home for Special Care, Truro. Born in Bible Hill, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Olive Cavanaugh. Gladys will always be remembered for her kindness and all the enjoyable meals she made. She is survived by daughters, Carol of New Glasgow, Sharon (Patrick) of Truro; son, Gary; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Ernest; sister Margaret. She was predeceased by her husband, Avery; brothers, Muir, Earle, Ira, Lloyd, Harry, Willis, Robert; sisters, Marion, Jean; son-in-law, George; granddaughter, Kimberley. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, and funeral service Sunday at 2 p.m., both in the Mattatall Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Pastor Greg Porter will officiate with a reception to follow in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Aenon Baptist Church Cemetery, Central North River.
