CHAMBERS, EDITH MAY (NEE TOTTEN) The passing of Edith May Chambers of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday, August 5, 2003. Born in Saint John, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Percy and Annie (McDonald) Totten. Predeceased by a sister Marion and a brother, George. She was a member of All Saints Anglican Church, Marysville, N.B. She was Past President, Honorary President, Secretary and a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 15, Marysville. She was also a recipient of a Certificate of Merit from the Royal Canadian Legion. She was a member of the Seniors Bowling League in Marysville and the Marysville Legion Bowling. Survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Kathleen Chambers of Fredericton and Susan McKinley and husband Bob of Fredericton; two sons, Robert (Sheila) of Maple Ridge, BC and John (Janet) of Edmonton, Alberta; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several special friends. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from All Saints Anglican Church, Canada Street, Marysville on Thursday August 7, 2003 at 11:00 am. Rev. John Cathcart will officiate. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. The Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary will hold a tribute service at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm.www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
