(Easton) Age 46. Passed away at her home in Lantz, N.S., May 27, 2008, Donna Ferne O'Neill (Easton), age 46 years, following a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born in Clarenville, NL, the youngest daughter of the late William and Ruby Easton (Frampton) and later moved to St. John's with the family in 1966. Left to cherish her memories are her husband and best friend Harry; daughter Krista; son Christopher; her canine companion, Riley, who was constantly by her side and bunny, Lucy; sisters: Mildred Holloway (Clarence), Mississauga, Beverley Manuel (Roy), St. John's, Shirley Easton, Hamilton, Rosalyn Easton, Calgary, and a best buddy, her only brother Ron (Mt. Pearl). Her in-laws: Doug and Dorothy O'Neill, Enfield, N.S., formerly of Pennywell Road, St. John's, NL; brothers-in-law: Paul (Calgary), Doug (Calgary); sister-in-law Sherry Hart (John), Whitecourt. Also left to mourn, many nieces, nephews, the Easton and Baggs family of Clarenville and her school friend Viley Kieley (Goulds). Cremation took place May 28, 2008. A Memorial service was held at Riverview United Church, Elmsdale, N.S., June 3rd, 2008 followed by a reception to celebrate her life at the Royal Canadian Legion, Elmsdale, N.S. Donations in her memory can be made to a Cancer Charity of ones choice.
