MCCONNELL, WILLARD, J. Funeral services for Willard J. McConnell, 92, of Sebring, Florida, who passed away August 18, 2003, in Sebring, will be held Friday, August 22, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, Rev. David Altman and Rev. Ralph Burns officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, August 21, 2003 from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson. Mr. McConnell was born November 26, 1910, to Justice and Margaret Barbara (London) McConnell, in Glen Coe, Canada, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1976, coming from Tampa, Florida. He was a General Service Manager for Detroit Diesel Co., and was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Sebring. He is survived by his wife, Mary McConnell, Sebring; daughter, Trudy McConnell, Palm Beach, Florida; brother, Ralph McConnell, Fredericton, Canada; sister, Glenna Cavanaugh, Fredericton, Canada; sister-in-law Marjorie Saunders, Fredericton, Canada; two grandchildren John Blake Moffat and Mary Lea Croff, and four great grandchildren, Myles Cross and Jennifer, Jessica and Philip Moffat. Memorial contributions may be made to either Lifepath Hospice, 1121 U.S. 27 South, Sebring, Florida 33870 or charity of choice.
