BURPEE, AGNES IRENE At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 27th, 2003, Agnes Irene Burpee, 99 years of age; Predeceased by her husband Atlee Burpee in 1995, by parents Sarah and Thomas (Smith) Stewart, by brothers William, Harry and James Stewart, and by sisters Sadie Ward, Bessie Stewart, Carrie Dibblee and Annie Stewart. Survived by son, Allison (Angie) Burpee of Nackawic; by daughters Mary (Floyd) Best and Marjorie (Ernest) Bishop each of Chipman, Mildred (John) Dunklee of Nauwigewauk and Sara (Terry) Meyer of Moncton; by sister, Kathleen Glenn of Coal Creek; by 15 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandson. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home (339-6612 - sharchip@nbnet.nb.ca) until Saturday when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Postlethwaite officiating. Interment in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chipman United Church Organ Fund or charity of donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
